PRESIDENT NATHAN TUMPERI

Nathan is a fourth year student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He has been involved in EGG since his first year where he served as a member of the Ecovillage Playground team. The following year he led the Playground team in renovating/restoring several existing playgrounds at the Ecovillage. During his third year, Nathan joined the Exec team as Project Manager. This year as president, Nathan looks forward to helping EGG reach more students and make meaningful impact locally and abroad.

VICE PRESIDENT BRENDAN VACHRIS

Brendan is a fourth year student studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Engineering Business. This is his third year in EGG, serving as the Treasurer and then Project Leader for the Ecovillage Playground team. Now Vice President of EGG, Brendan will be working hard alongside Nathan to expand the influence of the organization within the University community and beyond.

TREASURER SARAH SMITH

Sarah is a fourth year student majoring in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. This is her first year on the EGG team and she is excited to be in the role of Treasurer. As Treasurer, she hopes to aid project leaders in applying for as many grants and other funding opportunities as necessary to ensure that money is not something that inhibits any project’s progress.

PROJECT MANAGER KYLE LIMPIC

Kyle is a third year student majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He recently joined EGG in the spring of 2019, taking on the role of Project Management Chair for the 2019-2020 academic year. In his position as Project Management Chair, he plans on searching for new project fundraising opportunities, building a tightly-knit project team community, and revamping the Biogas in Belize Project.

 PROJECT MANAGER  JAMES MULLIN

James is a third year student majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Business. He became involved in EGG in his first year as a member of the Solar Water Generator team. In his second year, he joined the Village of Veterans team and will be leading that project during his third year. As Project Manager for the 2019-2020 year, James plans to work closely with project leaders to increase project membership and build successful and sustainable projects.

OUTREACH CHAIR ROHAN CHANDRA

Rohan is a second year majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He is new to the EGG team this year and excited to take on the role of Outreach Chair. Rohan aims to support new students and their projects within EGG and help them achieve all they can. As Outreach Chair, Rohan hopes to find and support new projects and increase awareness of EGG throughout the UVA and Charlottesville communities.

MARKETING CHAIR EMMA STEPHENS

Emma is a third year majoring in Civil and Environmental Engineering and planning to minor in Materials Science and Engineering. She first became involved with EGG as a member of the Biogas in Belize team her second year. As Marketing Chair, she hopes to revitalize the EGG website, develop t-shirts, and increase membership and community interest through collaboration with other clubs and organizations around UVA.
